Gospel musician Florence Obinim has revealed that she is prepared to accept a divorce if her husband, Bishop Daniel Obinim, decides he no longer wants their marriage to continue.
Speaking during an interview with GhPage on YouTube on June 16, 2026, Florence opened up about the difficulties she has been facing in her marriage to the founder of the International God’s Way Church.

According to her, she has remained patient, humble and supportive throughout the years, but feels that her efforts have not been fully appreciated by her husband.
Florence stated that she has done everything within her power to preserve the relationship and maintain peace in the home. However, she believes there is little more she can do if Bishop Obinim is no longer committed to making the marriage work.
“I have been humble and patient with Bishop, yet he still does not appreciate the kind of woman I am. May God’s will be done. If he is ready for a divorce, then I am ready too,” she said.
The gospel singer disclosed that she recently had a serious conversation with her husband regarding the state of their relationship. During the discussion, she reminded him of her commitment and respectful conduct throughout their years together while expressing concerns about issues that continue to affect her wellbeing.
According to Florence, she has always tried to avoid conflict and has chosen to endure many situations quietly for the sake of peace. However, she admitted that every individual has a breaking point and that there are limits to what a person can tolerate.
“I told him that I have always been a humble woman, but there are limits to what a person can tolerate. I cannot do certain things that may cost me my life,” she explained.
Florence also hinted at unresolved matters within the marriage that she has deliberately chosen not to make public. While declining to provide details, she suggested that there are issues concerning Bishop Obinim that she has kept private in an effort to protect their family and avoid further controversy.
“If I choose to speak about certain things that concern me about Bishop’s life, it would not be pleasant. There are things I am entitled to that would give me peace of mind, but if I am denied them, I simply stay quiet. If I need to buy or rent them myself, I go ahead and do so,” she added.
Despite her frustrations, Florence maintained that she harbours no ill feelings toward her husband. Instead, she called on members of the International God’s Way Church, as well as Bishop Obinim’s junior pastors, to pray for him and for the restoration of peace within the family.

Her comments have sparked widespread discussion on social media, with many Ghanaians expressing concern about the state of one of the country’s most talked-about celebrity marriages. While neither Florence nor Bishop Obinim has confirmed any formal separation proceedings, the singer’s remarks suggest that their relationship may be facing one of its most challenging periods yet.
For now, many supporters remain hopeful that the couple can resolve their differences and find a path forward, while others believe Florence’s candid remarks reflect the emotional strain she has endured over the years. As discussions continue, the public will be watching closely to see whether the couple can overcome their challenges or ultimately decide to part ways.
