José Mourinho is reportedly on the verge of making a sensational return to Real Madrid after agreeing to a two-year contract with the Spanish giants.
The Portuguese manager is expected to return to the Santiago Bernabéu more than a decade after leaving the club in 2013, with official confirmation from Real Madrid believed to be imminent.

Mourinho’s expected appointment comes after a disappointing season for the club, which reportedly missed out on major trophies and faced growing pressure from supporters demanding major changes within the team.
Reports indicate that Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez strongly pushed for Mourinho’s return as part of efforts to restore discipline, leadership and a winning mentality inside the dressing room.
Mourinho previously managed Real Madrid between 2010 and 2013, overseeing one of the club’s most competitive periods in recent history.
During his first spell at the club, he guided Madrid to several major trophies, including the La Liga title in the 2011/12 season, the Copa del Rey in 2011 and the Spanish Super Cup in 2012.
His title-winning side in the 2011/12 campaign also broke multiple records, becoming the first Real Madrid team to surpass 100 points in a single La Liga season while scoring more than 120 goals.
Although Mourinho’s time in Madrid was often marked by intense rivalries and controversies, many fans and football analysts credit him with rebuilding the club’s mentality and laying the foundation for the dominance Real Madrid later enjoyed in European football.

The 63-year-old remains one of the most successful managers in football history, having won league titles in Portugal, England, Italy and Spain.
Mourinho has also lifted two UEFA Champions League trophies during his managerial career — first with FC Porto and later with Inter Milan.
Over the years, he has coached some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Chelsea FC, Manchester United FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC and AS Roma.
If confirmed, Mourinho’s return is expected to spark major excitement among Real Madrid supporters while also marking one of the biggest managerial comebacks in world football.
