According to DopeNation, discussions during the visit focused on possible collaborations between Ghana’s music and football industries in a bid to rally support for the Ghana national football team, popularly known as the Black Stars, ahead of the global tournament.
“We paid a courtesy visit to the president of the Ghana Football Association, Mr Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup,” the duo wrote.
“As part of our vision to supporting the cause, we expressed our gratitude to the president and further discussed possible avenues for a partnership, merging Ghana music with Ghana football.”

The visit highlights the growing connection between Ghana’s entertainment and sports sectors as musicians continue to show strong support for national football activities and the Black Stars ahead of major international competitions.
Over the years, Ghanaian musicians have played an important role in supporting national teams through campaign songs, public endorsements and performances aimed at boosting morale among supporters and players.
DopeNation’s involvement adds to the increasing number of celebrities publicly backing Ghana’s preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
