Kumawood actor and producer Lil Win has come to the defence of Prophet Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah following widespread criticism of the clergyman’s failed prophecy ahead of Ghana’s FIFA World Cup clash against Croatia.
The founder of the Believers Worship Centre had predicted that the Black Stars would defeat Croatia. However, Ghana suffered a 2-1 defeat on June 27, prompting many social media users to question the accuracy of the prophecy and mock the popular preacher.

Reacting to the criticism, Lil Win shared a video on social media in which he strongly condemned those attacking Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah, directing particular criticism at fellow pastors.
“Those of you, especially the prophets speaking against Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah, are all hypocrites. You don’t know anything,” he said.
According to the actor, the prophet deserves appreciation rather than ridicule because he publicly prayed and prophesied in support of the Black Stars throughout their World Cup campaign.
Lil Win argued that many of the prophet’s critics remained silent before Ghana’s matches and only found their voices after the team lost to Croatia.
“Adom Kyei-Duah is the only one to pray and prophesy for the Black Stars to qualify for the next stage. The rest of you were quiet. Now you’re using the Croatia issue to speak badly about him. Shut up,” he stated.
The Kumawood star further questioned what the prophet’s critics had done to support the national team before the tournament.
“What did any of you say about Ghana’s chances at the World Cup? Nothing!” he added.

Lil Win concluded by cautioning those continuing to ridicule Prophet Adom Kyei-Duah, expressing confidence that the clergyman’s prophecies would ultimately be fulfilled despite the setback against Croatia.
The debate surrounding the prophecy has continued to generate mixed reactions online, with some Ghanaians defending the prophet while others argue that religious leaders should be more cautious when making public predictions about sporting events.
