Ghanaian business mogul Richard Nii Armah Quaye, popularly known as RNAQ, has strongly denied allegations that he physically abused his former wife, describing the claims as false and part of a deliberate attempt to tarnish his image.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on The Delay Show, the businessman addressed accusations that have circulated widely online involving his ex-wife, Joana.

“I can’t even beat my children, not to even beat my wife. I have never beaten my wife before,” RNAQ stated during the interview.
He also responded to a viral video that has been linked to the allegations, questioning both the source and credibility of the footage. According to him, the video does not show him and should not be treated as proof of wrongdoing.
“I have seen that video circulating, which talks about me beating my wife, and, as I said, there is a clear agenda against me. I don’t know where they got that video from,” he said.
RNAQ further argued that modern technology makes it easy for visuals to be manipulated, cautioning against rushing to conclusions based solely on social media content.
“In today’s world, people can even do makeup that looks like someone has been beaten. She may have had an encounter with someone and gotten a swollen face and used it in a video. Because you see, that purported video people believe in, I did not appear in it,” he added.
The businessman expressed disappointment over what he described as the public’s willingness to accept accusations without proper verification.
“I keep watching the video and I ask myself, does it mean anyone who comes to make allegations about me would be believed? How can we live in a society like this? This is cruelty. Anyone who believed that video and concluded I was responsible has done a great injustice to me,” he said.

RNAQ maintains that the allegations are entirely baseless and has called for a more balanced, evidence-based approach when sensitive accusations are made in the public space.
The interview has since generated widespread discussion online, with opinions divided between those defending his right to respond and others urging caution whenever allegations of abuse surface.
As the controversy continues, the comments on The Delay Show have brought renewed attention to the broader issues of reputation, social media narratives, and the importance of due process in the court of public opinion.
