Management of late actress Beverly Afaglo has officially announced details for her one-week observation following reports of her passing.

In a statement released on Sunday, May 24, by Cine-God Studios on behalf of the Afaglo family, management confirmed that the actress passed away in the early hours of Sunday at the International Maritime Hospital in Tema after what was described as a long battle with cancer.

The statement noted that the one-week observance for the late actress will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Green Flavour Events Centre, Community 9, Tema, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

According to the family, the gathering will offer relatives, friends, colleagues and loved ones the opportunity to mourn and honour the memory of the actress.

“The family respectfully requests prayers, support, and privacy as they mourn this painful loss and make arrangements for her final rites,” part of the statement read.

Management further indicated that additional details regarding funeral arrangements and burial plans would be communicated in due course.

The family also expressed gratitude to friends, colleagues and well-wishers for the support and condolences they have received since news of Beverly Afaglo’s passing became public.
