Actress and entrepreneur Fella Makafui has responded after actor Drogba alleged that she failed to personally check up on him during his recent illness.
The actress reacted in the comment section of an interview video shared on TikTok by “The Village Blogger,” where Drogba opened up about the level of support he received from colleagues in the movie industry following news of his health condition.

In her response, Fella Makafui expressed surprise over Drogba’s comments and suggested the interview may not have been recent.
“I hope this video is not new because that will be surprising. We’ve been communicating lately for anyone asking,” she wrote.
Drogba, who became popular for his role alongside Fella Makafui in the hit television series YOLO, had earlier claimed in an interview with Sammy Kay Media that the actress did not initially contact him directly after news of his condition surfaced online.
According to Drogba, Fella first reached out to actor Jeffrey Nortey to ask about his health instead of speaking to him personally, despite already having his phone number.
“Fella Makafui hasn’t reached out. When the thing came, she reached out to Jeffrey Nortey. She has my number, so he was surprised,” Drogba stated.
The actor further explained that Fella later contacted him using a different number and asked about his availability, but he claimed he had not heard from her again after that conversation.
“Later, she reached out to me with a different number and asked me when I was free. I told her, and since then, I haven’t heard from her,” he added.
Drogba also revealed that he had reached out to several personalities within the entertainment industry for support during his illness. He mentioned names including Salma Mumin and John Dumelo, alleging that they had not yet offered him assistance.

The interview quickly generated reactions across social media, with fans sharing mixed opinions about whether celebrities are obligated to publicly or privately support colleagues facing difficult moments.
Fella Makafui’s response, however, appears to suggest that communication between the two actors has taken place behind the scenes despite Drogba’s public claims.
The development has since sparked further discussion among fans of the popular YOLO series, many of whom continue to express concern for Drogba’s health while hoping for unity among industry colleagues.
