The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has approved filing fees ranging from GH¢10,000 to GH¢100,000 for aspirants seeking to contest 14 national executive positions in the party’s 2026 leadership elections.
The National Chairman position attracts the highest filing fee of GH¢100,000, while candidates seeking membership of the National Executive Committee will pay GH¢10,000.

The party’s Functional Executive Committee (FEC) approved the fee structure as part of preparations for the national executive elections.
In addition to the filing fee, all aspirants are required to pay GH¢2,000 for a nomination form.
According to information on the party’s online nomination portal, the period for purchasing nomination forms has closed. However, aspirants who obtained their forms within the stipulated period have until October 15, 2026, to complete and submit their applications.
How to Complete the NDC Nomination Process
Candidates who purchased nomination forms before the deadline can access the party’s online portal at forms.ghanandc.com to complete their applications.
Applicants who saved their progress can log in and continue the process. A nomination guide is also available on the platform to help candidates understand the submission requirements.
The party has made Form B, which serves as the endorsement form, available for free download. Aspirants are expected to provide the required details and supporting documents before submitting their applications.
Endorsers who have outstanding membership dues may still be included in an application. However, they must settle the arrears before vetting for their endorsements to remain valid.
Eligibility Requirements for Aspirants
The NDC nomination platform outlines several conditions applicants must satisfy before contesting the national executive positions.
Candidates must be Ghanaian citizens by birth, at least 21 years old, registered voters and party members in good standing. They must also not hold positions that disqualify them from contesting.
Applicants are required to have their NDC membership numbers, valid voter identification cards and postcard photographs ready for the application process.
Reduced Fees for Female Candidates and PWDs
The approved fee structure provides a 50 per cent reduction for female aspirants and persons with disabilities (PWDs) contesting the listed positions.
However, the concession does not apply to candidates seeking the positions of National Women’s Organiser and Deputy National Women’s Organiser.
