Ghanaian singer KiDi has dismissed fresh rumours suggesting he has fallen out with fellow musician and former Lynx Entertainment label mate Kuami Eugene, making it clear that he has no interest in responding to social media speculation about their friendship.

The award-winning artiste addressed the claims after several social media users questioned whether he and Kuami Eugene were still on good terms. The rumours gained momentum after some fans noticed that KiDi did not publicly promote Kuami Eugene’s recently released EP, leading to claims that the two musicians had drifted apart.

In a video shared by Pulse Ghana, the Lomo Lomo hitmaker was asked to react to several online comments suggesting that his friendship with Kuami Eugene had come to an end.

Some of the comments claimed the two musicians had secretly fallen out despite previously insisting that their relationship remained strong.

One social media user wrote:

“I told you, KiDi and Kuami Eugene weren’t cool. Y’all thought it was just for Elon Money.”

Another commenter questioned why KiDi had promoted music from other artistes but did not publicly support Kuami Eugene’s latest project.

“KiDi promotes many artistes and their work, but didn’t do the same for Eugene’s EP, yet claims their friendship is intact.”

A third comment even suggested that a woman had allegedly caused tension between the two musicians.

Rather than offering a lengthy explanation, KiDi responded with a brief Twi phrase that quickly attracted attention online.

“Di wo fie asem,” he said.

The phrase translates to “Mind your own business,” indicating that the singer had no intention of discussing his personal relationship with Kuami Eugene or entertaining rumours circulating on social media.

KiDi’s response has since generated mixed reactions among fans. While some praised him for refusing to engage in unnecessary controversy, others continued to speculate about whether there is any truth behind the claims.

The two musicians rose to prominence under Lynx Entertainment and have collaborated on several successful songs over the years. Their friendship has often been the subject of public discussion, especially following Kuami Eugene’s departure from the record label.

Despite recurring rumours of tension between them, neither KiDi nor Kuami Eugene has publicly confirmed any disagreement. Their latest comments suggest they remain unwilling to fuel speculation surrounding their personal relationship.

For now, KiDi’s response appears to signal that he prefers to keep his private affairs out of public debate, leaving fans to focus on the music rather than rumours circulating online.
