Nine players have officially opened camp for the Ghana national football team in Wales ahead of their pre-World Cup friendly scheduled for June 2 in Cardiff.
The early arrivals include Jordan Ayew, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Gideon Mensah, Jerome Opoku, Marvin Senaya and Alidu Seidu, who were all spotted in a video circulating on social media after reporting to camp.

The Black Stars are expected to intensify preparations in the coming days as more players arrive following the conclusion of the European football season.
The friendly against Wales forms part of Ghana’s preparations ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where the Black Stars will aim to improve their recent performances and build momentum before the tournament begins.
Despite anticipation surrounding the team, the Ghana Football Association is yet to officially release the squad list for both the Wales friendly and the World Cup itself.
GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has however indicated that the final squad announcement will be made public on June 1.
The Black Stars head into the upcoming fixture under pressure after enduring a difficult run of form in recent matches.
Ghana are currently on a five-game losing streak, with their latest setback coming in a 2-0 defeat to Mexico national football team during an international friendly.
The poor run has sparked concerns among supporters ahead of the World Cup, with many fans hoping the technical team can quickly rebuild confidence and improve performances before the tournament.

Head coach Carlos Queiroz has stressed that only deserving and in-form players will make the final squad for the tournament.
The experienced coach has repeatedly emphasised discipline, hard work and merit-based selection as Ghana prepares for the expanded 48-team FIFA World Cup.
Ghana have been drawn in Group L alongside England national football team, Croatia national football team and Panama national football team.
The Black Stars will be hoping to secure qualification from the group stage and reach the knockout rounds of the World Cup for the first time since their historic run at the 2010 tournament in South Africa.
