Ghana Tourism Authority Endorses BHIM Festival 2025, Set for Accra Sports Stadium

The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has officially announced its partnership and support for BHIM Music Group Limited in hosting the highly anticipated BHIM Festival 2025, now scheduled for December 24, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The event, one of the flagship celebrations under the “December in GH” initiative, promises an extraordinary fusion of music, culture, and unity — featuring top local and international artistes.

According to the GTA, the Accra Sports Stadium has been secured as the official venue, with BHIM Music Group overseeing the full setup on December 23, ahead of the main performance night.

Speaking at the announcement, Maame Efua Houadjeto, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, highlighted that the collaboration reflects the Authority’s commitment to promoting the creative arts and entertainment industries as vital components of tourism development.

“This support reflects our dedication to amplifying the creative arts as a major pillar of tourism growth,” she said. “The December in GH initiative continues to create opportunities that unite Ghanaians and attract visitors to experience our culture, music, and hospitality.”

The GTA emphasised that high-profile events like the BHIM Festival are instrumental in positioning Ghana as Africa’s leading destination for festive and cultural tourism. Over the years, the December in GH calendar has become a cornerstone of Ghana’s tourism strategy, drawing thousands of international visitors who contribute significantly to the country’s economy through hospitality, transport, and entertainment sectors.

The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to continued collaboration with key stakeholders across the creative, tourism, and events industries to ensure memorable visitor experiences and sustained growth in Ghana’s cultural tourism space.

Founded by celebrated reggae and dancehall icon Stonebwoy, the BHIM Festival has evolved into one of Ghana’s most anticipated annual music events. It celebrates African creativity, unity, and the global appeal of Ghanaian talent, serving as a powerful platform that bridges cultures through music.

As anticipation builds toward the December 24 showcase, both the Ghana Tourism Authority and BHIM Music Group have assured the public of a world-class production that will highlight Ghana’s unique rhythm, warmth, and artistry to the world.
