Nigerian music superstar Davido has described his recent white wedding to Chioma Avril Adeleke as a “fairytale” celebration, dismissing criticism over its grandeur.
In a post on X dated August 13, 2025, the award-winning artist expressed his joy over the August 10 ceremony, calling it “perfect” and one of the best days of their lives.

Despite its success, the celebration faced hurdles, including visa complications that prevented some guests, such as Chioma’s parents and close friend Cubana Chief Priest, from attending.
Davido, however, remained unbothered by the criticisms, asserting that the love and joy of the day overshadowed any negativity.
“Nothing una fit do say, or make up will ever change the facts that we had a fairytale wedding! And one of the best days, not the best day, of our lives! The whole world celebrated us!” he added.
