The much-anticipated 26th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) will now be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, a week later than the initially advertised date of May 3. The change was officially announced by Charterhouse Productions, organisers of the prestigious annual music awards ceremony.
In an official statement released this week, Charterhouse expressed regret over the scheduling adjustment, stating that it was necessary due to logistical considerations. The main event will take place at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre, a venue known for hosting major national and international events.
As a result of the date change, some of the lead-up events to the main awards night have also been rescheduled. The updated calendar is as follows:
- Master Class: Thursday, May 8, 2025
- Pre-Party: Friday, May 9, 2025
