
Veteran Ghanaian actor Mawuli Semevo has passed away at 63 after suffering severe burns in a fire at his home. He was taken to Ridge Hospital in Accra, where he died on February 20, 2025.
Semevo, born in 1962, started his acting career in 1980 and became a well-known figure in Ghanaian theater and film. He starred in productions like A Stab in the Dark, Like Cotton Twines, The Good Old Days: The Love of AA, and the popular TV series Yolo.
