Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus is reportedly on the radar of Saudi Pro League giants Al Nassr, who are preparing a potential €100 million move to lure the West Ham United star away from the Premier League.
According to English media reports, including TalkSport, the 23-year-old is one of four Premier League players being closely monitored by Al Nassr as they prepare for a summer recruitment drive. Alongside Kudus, the Saudi club is said to be targeting Ghanaian compatriot Antoine Semenyo of Bournemouth, Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma, and Liverpool winger Luis Díaz.
Al Nassr, who boast world-class talents such as Cristiano Ronaldo, are reportedly determined to boost their squad’s attacking prowess and view Kudus as a key piece in their long-term ambitions.
The club previously showed interest in Kudus during the January transfer window, having approached West Ham after their €90 million bid for Mitoma was turned down. While the move didn’t materialize then, sources claim that Al Nassr have not given up hope of securing the dynamic forward.
Respected journalist Ben Jacobs revealed that Kudus has a Saudi-specific release clause worth £120 million, separate from his £85 million clause applicable to Premier League clubs. Notably, this Saudi-specific clause expires on July 1, which means time is of the essence for Al Nassr to finalize a deal under those terms.
Despite the hefty figure, the report suggests that West Ham could be open to negotiating for a fee below the release clause, particularly if the player expresses interest in the move.
However, it remains unclear whether Kudus is prepared to make the switch to Saudi Arabia. Sources close to the player indicate he remains focused on helping West Ham finish the season strongly and may prefer to stay in Europe to further his development and visibility.
Since joining West Ham from Ajax Amsterdam in 2023, Kudus has rapidly established himself as one of the Premier League’s most exciting young talents. In 76 appearances across all competitions, he has scored 16 goals and provided a series of crucial performances, cementing his status as a fan favourite at the London Stadium.
His versatility—capable of playing as a winger, attacking midfielder, or even central forward—has made him a key figure in David Moyes’ squad, with his technical flair and strength drawing admiration across Europe.
Should Al Nassr succeed in convincing both Kudus and West Ham, the deal would mark another marquee signing for the Saudi Pro League, which continues to attract high-profile footballers in a bid to elevate its global appeal.
