On Sunday, May 4, 2025, Jelvis Kwame Baidoo, Team Lead of the Jelvis Foundation, paid a special visit to the EKMA Colts Youth League at the Effia-Kuma Astroturf.
The fixture featured an intense match between Bis Paradise FC and Zebra FC, where Bis Paradise triumphed in an exciting game filled with skill, passion, and promise.

Mr. Baidoo’s presence energized the players and the crowd, as the community gathered to witness what is fast becoming one of the most engaging youth football leagues in the region.
The match lived up to expectations. Bis Paradise displayed excellent teamwork and control, eventually securing a well-earned victory over Zebra FC. Leading from the front was their captain, Kelvin Boateng, who dominated the field with sharp passes, great vision, and calm leadership.
At the end of the match, Kelvin Boateng was named Man of the Match. Jelvis Kwame Baidoo personally handed him the award, praising his discipline and performance.
After the match, Mr. Baidoo addressed the young players with heartfelt advice that extended beyond the football pitch. He commended both teams for their hard work and dedication but emphasized the importance of balancing sports with education.
“I can see the next Asamoah Gyan and Mohamed Kudus here today,” he said, smiling proudly. “With the kind of football I’ve seen today, I believe the next Mysterio is already here.”
He encouraged the juveniles to keep their minds on their studies and maintain a positive attitude in all they do.
“Talent alone won’t take you far. You need a good attitude, respect for your coaches, and most importantly, your education. Combine all these with your passion for football, and you’ll go places,” he added.

Mr. Baidoo used the opportunity to reaffirm the Jelvis Foundation’s commitment to juvenile football in the community. As headline sponsor of the 2024/2025 EKMA Colts League, the foundation has already provided vital support in promoting grassroots sports, and this visit made their involvement even more personal.
“We are committed to standing with you. We will continue to support juvenile football and the young people in this community. You deserve the chance to chase your dreams,” Mr. Baidoo assured.
The EKMA Colts League continues to be more than just a competition—it’s a movement that unites families, builds discipline, and nurtures future leaders through sport.
The enthusiastic support from parents, coaches, and local businesses proves that the community is rallying behind its youth. With role models like Jelvis Kwame Baidoo leading the way, young footballers now have both inspiration and resources to pursue their goals.

The Jelvis Foundation’s mission—“Connecting Our Communities”—was on full display as children left the pitch with not only memories of the game but life lessons that will stay with them for years.
