This December, the Jelvis Foundation is bringing back a cherished tradition that once lit up the hearts of children across the Effiakuma community — The Kids Party. Formerly hosted under the banner of the Community Connect Foundation GH, this beloved event is being reintroduced with even more excitement, joy, and purpose under the Jelvis Foundation’s new vision.
Set to return during the Christmas season of 2025, The Kids Party aims to rekindle the magic of the holidays for children aged 3 to 14 in Effiakuma and its neighboring areas. The event is expected to bring together hundreds of kids for a day of fun, creativity, celebration, and connection.

The Kids Party was last held in 2019 and left lasting memories in the minds of many children and families. From free popcorn movie screenings to energetic dancing competitions and exciting Christmas gifts from Santa Claus himself, the event symbolized pure joy and community bonding. Back then, it featured special appearances from personalities like Shasha Marley, Nana Ama Anasah II, Prophet Restorf Eshun, and more — making it one of the biggest children’s Christmas gatherings in the Sekondi-Takoradi region.
Fast forward to today, the Jelvis Foundation, formerly known as Community Connect Foundation GH, has undergone a rebranding that reflects its broader community goals and new initiatives — including Free WiFi Projects, Made in Effiakuma, and more. Yet at its heart, the foundation remains committed to uplifting communities, and this includes making children feel seen, heard, and loved.

This year’s Kids Party promises to be bigger and brighter than ever. The upcoming event will feature:
- Singing, Rap, and Dance Competitions
Giving talented kids a stage to showcase their creativity and win exciting prizes. - Free Movie Screenings with Popcorn
Films like The Lion King and Spiderman: Far From Home are crowd favorites. - Face Painting & Craft Stations
Where imagination meets color, with local artists decorating happy faces. - Food, Drinks & Treats for All
No child will leave hungry — free snacks, meals, and drinks will be provided. - Santa’s Corner
With real-time gift distribution and Christmas cheer from Santa Claus himself. - Special Guest Performances & MC
Including some of Ghana’s beloved community influencers and performers.
This rebranded return of The Kids Party isn’t just about entertainment. It is a strategic move by the Jelvis Foundation to reinforce its core belief: that children are the future, and every initiative — whether digital, educational, or festive — should empower them.
The event is being made possible through the support of sponsors, volunteers, and community leaders who share this passion for community development and youth empowerment. The Jelvis Foundation invites corporate partners, donors, and residents of Effiakuma to rally behind this project to make it unforgettable.
