The Jelvis Foundation has embarked on a transformative educational outreach in the Effiakuma community, aimed at enlightening young students on three key issues affecting youth today — teenage pregnancy, drug abuse, and the proper use of the internet.
The Foundation’s team, led by community advocates and educators, began the campaign this week, visiting several schools in Effiakuma to engage students through open discussions and interactive sessions.

Among the schools visited were:
- Nana Brempong Yaw School
- Rev. Dunwell Academy
- Golden Gate Adventist School
- Christ Apostolic Preparatory School
- Angel Grace School Complex
- Heaven Dew Preparatory School
- Presbyterian Preparatory School
- Pentecost Preparatory School
According to the Founder and President of the Jelvis Foundation, Mr. Jelvis Kwame Baidoo, this initiative aligns with his lifelong vision of transforming Effiakuma into a model community where young people are empowered through education and moral guidance.
“Education is the key to unlocking the potential of every community. When we equip our young people with knowledge and discipline, we are building a stronger Effiakuma and a brighter future for Ghana,”
— Mr. Jelvis Kwame Baidoo stated.
He emphasized that the Foundation’s school engagement program is designed not only to inform but also to inspire students to make responsible choices that protect their future.
Mr. Baidoo further explained that the growing challenges of teenage pregnancy and drug abuse among young people can be reduced through consistent education, mentorship, and access to positive role models. The sessions also focused on digital literacy, teaching students how to use the internet safely and productively in their studies.

The Jelvis Foundation, since its inception, has been dedicated to connecting communities through empowerment programs, health outreaches, and youth-focused initiatives. The ongoing school tour forms part of its broader mission to nurture responsible and informed citizens in Effiakuma and beyond.
The Foundation expressed gratitude to the participating schools for their warm reception and pledged to continue supporting educational development and youth empowerment initiatives across the region.
The Jelvis Foundation is a community-based nonprofit organization committed to improving lives through education, health, and social empowerment. Founded by Mr. Jelvis Kwame Baidoo, the Foundation continues to champion impactful initiatives under the theme “Connecting Our Communities.”
