Organisers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) have announced that nominees for the 27th edition of the prestigious awards scheme will be unveiled on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
The nominations will be revealed during a special broadcast that will air live on TV3 Ghana and across the official digital platforms of the Ghana Music Awards.

According to the organisers, the announcement will take place in multiple segments throughout the day, allowing music fans, artistes and industry stakeholders to follow the unveiling of nominees across different categories.
The organisers explained that the nominees’ announcement will run hourly between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., with various award categories being revealed during each segment.
This format is expected to build anticipation among fans as they wait to see which artistes and industry players have earned nominations in the different categories.
The main nominees’ announcement show is scheduled for 8:00 p.m., where highlights from the earlier announcements will be presented along with additional information about the awards season.
The evening broadcast is expected to provide a comprehensive overview of the nominated artistes, songs and projects that have shaped the Ghanaian music scene over the past year.
Fans who are unable to watch the announcements on television will still have several options to follow the event online.
The organisers confirmed that the nominations will also be streamed live on the official Facebook page of the Ghana Music Awards and on the Charterhouse Live YouTube channel.
