Sammy Flex, the PR and Media Manager for Ghanaian dancehall icon Shatta Wale, has expressed great satisfaction with his new position, describing it as “excellent.”
In an interview on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z with Kwame Dadzie, the media personality explained that his transition from overall manager to his current role has been both smooth and fulfilling.

“Personally, I don’t see so much change like that,” Sammy Flex said. “When I started, there were some KPIs that I was supposed to meet for the brand. And I think in about two, three years, we all saw that something was looking good, so we said why not spread it so other people can also take other roles for us to grow bigger.”
He attributed the recent positive perception and goodwill Shatta Wale has gained within the Ghanaian music industry to strong teamwork and the artiste’s personal evolution.
“I still want to believe it is the general work of the entire team including Shatta Wale himself,” he noted. “Because if he is not willing to make it happen like that, you alone cannot do it. At the end of the day, the discussion is always about him. But he has also decided to take a different position in this whole music thing. I believe that is why we are seeing all this.”
When asked how he would rate his performance so far, Sammy Flex responded confidently: “It’s been excellent! So far so good and we are happy with the result we are seeing.”
In recent months, Shatta Wale has reorganized his management structure, bringing in new team members and expanding portfolios. This restructuring, according to industry observers, aims to further strengthen the Shatta Movement brand and enhance its international reach.

Sammy Flex’s continued collaboration with Shatta Wale marks a renewed phase in the dancehall star’s career, which has seen improved public relations and increased corporate engagement.
Industry insiders say the new management direction is part of a broader effort to reposition Shatta Wale as a global music figure while maintaining his dominance on the local scene.
Fans have also praised Sammy Flex’s communication strategy, which has helped improve Shatta Wale’s brand image and foster unity within the Shatta Movement fan base. As both continue to evolve, their partnership is widely regarded as one of the most dynamic in Ghana’s entertainment landscape.
