Prophet Fire Ogya Reaffirms Prophecy of Black Sherif’s Career Decline in 2025

Rev. Jedidia Henry Kore, popularly known as Prophet Fire Ogya, has once again stirred public attention by reaffirming a controversial prophecy regarding award-winning Ghanaian musician Black Sherif. The clergyman insists that the rapper-singer’s music career will face a significant downturn in 2025—a claim he attributes to divine revelation.

Speaking during an interview on Okay FM’s Ekwanso Dwodwo on Monday, June 16, Prophet Fire Ogya did not waver when questioned about his earlier prophecy. “Yes, I prophesied about Black Sherif, and I still stand by my words because God revealed it to me,” he confidently declared on air.

According to the pastor, the forecasted decline stems from spiritual manipulation affecting the artist’s creative abilities. He dramatically claimed that Black Sherif’s “tongue has been replaced in the spiritual realm,” which would hinder his ability to produce hit songs or maintain the musical momentum that brought him global fame.

He went on to suggest that unless five powerful men of God intervene through prayer and spiritual warfare, the prophecy will inevitably come to pass. “There are battles beyond what the eyes can see,” he said, urging Black Sherif and his team not to take the revelation lightly.

This isn’t the first time Prophet Fire Ogya has made headlines with spiritually charged predictions. He previously prophesied about Ghanaian football star Mohammed Kudus, warning of harm that never materialized. The prophet later claimed his spiritual intervention averted the danger, further deepening public skepticism and debate around his credibility.

Prophet Fire Ogya’s latest comments have drawn mixed reactions across social media platforms, with fans of Black Sherif expressing concern, disbelief, or outright dismissal of the pastor’s statements. Others have called for restraint, urging the public not to mock spiritual leaders while also advising discernment.

Black Sherif, known for his breakout hits like Kwaku the Traveller and Second Sermon, has enjoyed an astronomical rise in the music industry since 2021. His raw lyrical style and emotive delivery have made him a standout figure on the African music scene and beyond. As of now, the artist has not responded to the prophecy.

While many view such spiritual claims with skepticism, they remain a powerful part of Ghana’s socio-religious discourse, particularly in the entertainment industry where several public figures have been subjects of similar prophecies in recent years.

Whether Fire Ogya’s prediction will manifest or fade like others before it remains to be seen. In the meantime, fans continue to rally behind Black Sherif as he pushes forward in his musical journey amidst the noise of spiritual speculation.
