Efua Black Hosts Successful 2025 Holy Ghost Concert in Takoradi

Gospel powerhouse Efua Black successfully hosted her annual Holy Ghost Concert on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Word of Life Assemblies of God in Anaji-Takoradi. The night was filled with spirit-lifting worship, soul-stirring performances, and moments of heartfelt appreciation, making it one of the most memorable events in Ghana’s gospel music calendar.

Themed “The Latter Rain Experience” (inspired by Zechariah 10:1), the concert drew hundreds of believers and music lovers who came with expectant hearts. The atmosphere was charged with the presence of God as some of Ghana’s most celebrated gospel artistes graced the stage.

Amy Newman, Ceccy Twum, Becky Bonney, Diana Hamilton, Elder Mireku, and Uncle Ato all delivered breathtaking performances, leading the congregation into deep moments of worship and praise. Each artiste brought a unique anointing, creating an unforgettable night of ministry and celebration.

In a heartwarming moment during the concert, Efua Black presented personalized portrait artworks to each of the guest ministers — Amy Newman, Ceccy Twum, Becky Bonney, Diana Hamilton, Elder Mireku, and Uncle Ato. The portraits were not just expressions of appreciation but also symbolic acts of seed sowing and spiritual connection.

Efua Black shared that through the presentation of these portraits, she was tapping into the grace and anointing upon the lives and ministries of these gospel legends.

“I am using these portraits as a seed, sowing into your lives and ministries,” Efua Black said. “I deeply appreciate everything you have done for me—the love, prayers, support, and how you continue to lift me in my journey. I am truly grateful.”

The evening was more than just music—it was a powerful spiritual encounter. The congregation experienced moments of healing, prophetic declarations, and revival as the artistes ministered with passion and authenticity.

Audience members praised the event’s organization, sound quality, and spirit-led programming. Many took to social media after the concert to testify about the divine encounters they experienced and to commend Efua Black and her team for a job well done.

As the final notes of worship faded into the night, it was clear that Holy Ghost Concert 2025 had not just entertained but transformed lives. Efua Black once again proved why she remains a significant force in Ghana’s gospel music scene, combining musical excellence with genuine ministry.

With this remarkable success, anticipation is already building for what promises to be an even greater concert next year.
